Choose between QuickTime Streaming/Flash Streaming media hosting or our new dedicated QTSS and Flash Media servers.
Streaming has several advantages over web hosted files:
- Random access: any part of the file can be accessed at any time. Hosted media requires downloading the entire file before it can be randomly accessed.
- Quicker start: streaming files start playing almost immediately. Hosted files require some time to download before they start playing.
- Better performance: streaming servers are optimized to deliver audio/video efficiently, especially when many viewers connect at once
- Security: web hosted media gets downloaded to the viewer. With streaming the file is not downloaded, providing a better measure of security than hosted media.
- Live broadcasts: streaming is required for live broadcasts

sysTame's QuickTime Streaming and Flash Media Servers provide high-speed, high-bandwidth connections to your streaming clients.All plans feature NO SETUP FEE, and you have the option of including free Budget Hosting with your streaming plan.
In accordance with our keep-it-simple philosophy, we have just one rate for both live broadcasting and on-demand media. Mix and match as much of each as you like.

• Plans less than $100/month pay quarterly.
• Plans greater than $100/month pay monthly.
Overage: $6 per GB over plan allotment. If plan goes over for 2 consecutive months, it will be ugraded to the next higher-priced plan.

Dedicated streaming servers allow you to take complete control over the streaming software and your media files. With the included streaming admin software you can start/stop server, track bandwidth/# streams in realtime, and perform other vital functions.
Running in a VMWare Fusion virtual machine on fast Apple Intel Xeon Xserve servers, each server includes dedicated RAM, hard drive, and processors. Choose either dedicated QuickTime Streaming Server or dedicated Flash Media Server.
